In an idyllic setting on the banks of the Piave River, in the small village of Onigo di Pederobba in the Veneto Region, the Reparo B&B is located in a completely renovated building, formerly a watermill, and is surrounded by its own 7.5 acres of open fields and expansive lawns.
There are three well-appointed, large guest bedrooms with a view over the garden: the Prato room on the ground floor, the Alba room and the Olmo room on the first floor. Two of these rooms are laid out in the same way whilst the third features an additional, adjoining room with a bunk bed. Each room is large with a white beamed ceiling and different matchings of the same colours, aubergine and beige. Each room features king-sized beds and a good-sized ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a good wifi service inside the B&B and in the surrounding garden.
Breakfast is a big feature of a stay at “Reparo”. One of the owners’ passions is food and they are always looking to create interesting breakfast dishes, picking seasonal fruit and seeking out the best local produce.
I, Leonella, together with my sister Lorena look forward to welcoming you to the peace and tranquillity of the AL Reparo B&B and to an area recently recognized as the Mount Grappa Biosphere Reserve MAB UNESCO.
We would like to inform you that our guest house has been restored in accordance with the norms and regulations of energy sustainability. As for the breakfast, it features homemade cakes and biscuits and locally sourced products from artisan producers.
No matter your arrival time, we provide a safe box with a personal code, just in front of the B&B to enable you to obtain your room key on your own. The carpark is close to the rooms and features one EV charging point.
Finally, just one more word about the name of our Reparo B&B.
Meaning “shelter”, it is named after the barriers built by the Republic of Venice along the Piave River to protect the top-soil and terrain, the watermills and the power hammers from floods and flowing waters. Our guest house has indeed been a “shelter” over the years. Formerly as a watermill, for all those who earnt their living from working there, latterly as a summer holiday place, for relatives who used to come and relax in a peaceful environment. Now as a whole-year welcoming home from home, for you, the guest, who would possibly choose our “Reparo” to experience a stay in the area.
The Prosecco hills with their well-known wineries and the Montello hill with its many favourite places to eat are all within a 10 to 20-minute drive, not to mention the restaurants within 10 minutes walking.
The historic towns of Asolo, Bassano del Grappa, Castelfranco Veneto, Vittorio Veneto, Feltre and Treviso are also all within a 30 to 40-minute drive, as are Possagno, hometown of the neoclassical sculptor A. Canova, with its temple and museum and Follina with its medieval Abbey.
Again a great destination within 5 minutes driving, the village of Maser with its world-famous Palladian Villa (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
In about an hour’s train ride from the nearest train station, also a very short drive away, you can reach either Venice, Padua, Vicenza or the Dolomites
Last but not least the Reparo is very close to ”La Ciclabile del Piave”, a bicycle track soon to be completed.
